Global Outreach

P.E.A.C.E.

PROMOTING RECONCILIATION (India, Canada)
EQUIPPING SERVANT LEADERS (WEA, Navigators, EFC, YWAM)
ASSISTING THE POOR (Sri Lanka, WEA, Food on the Corner, Union Gospel Mission)
CARING FOR THE SICK (AIDS Ministry, Dentistry with Heart)
EDUCATING THE NEXT GENERATION (International Needs Ghana)

With the money you give to the church, 10% goes to Global Outreach which has helped make a difference in our world.

We are striving to respond to the FIVE Global Giants:
1. SPIRITUAL EMPTINESS
2. SELF-SERVANT LEADERS
3. EXTREME POVERTY
4. PANDEMIC DISEASES
5. RAMPANT IGNORANCE

At The Way, we support PEOPLE.
Tim Ernst is ministering with Navigators and has a great goal to reach seemingly unreachable men in the market place, leading them to Chirst, expanding God’s kingdom. Tim also heads up Ironmen, the men’s group at The Way. Bret and Mary Jane Murphy are keeping country churches alive by ministering at New Testament Fellowship Church in Middle Stewiacke, Nova Scotia.

Gwen Burquest is serving with Youth With a Mission. (YWAM). She is involved around the world teaching her course “Destiny by Design” to people at the YWAM bases. Geoff and Jewel Tunnicliffe, Geoff seeks to envision and motivate Christians to actively participate in responding to major global issues such as poverty, HIV/AIDS, human trafficking, human rights and spirituality.

At The Way, we support SHORT TERM TEAMS.
We are looking for people who are engaging in local or international ministry. We would like to stand with you in the work that God has called you to do. The Thailand fall team ministered Oct 23– Nov. 6, 2008. The team assisted in a conference and helped at an orphanage. Fall 2009 - Lord willing, a team will be sent along with the ministries of Dentistry with Heart. We support these ministries through prayer, finances or involvement.

At The Way, we support ORGANIZATIONS. The heartbeat of Vision Canada is to increase more flourishing effective churches in our country. We accomplish this vision by working directly with church leaders. We are providing support for churches and their leaders across Canada. We pray to increase by 10% each year. One of the longest standing board members of International Needs is Pastor Michael Sherbino. IN Network works in many poor places in the world. Evangelical Fellowship of Canada is a national movement that purposes to engage an increasingly inclusive participation of Evangelicals for Kingdom influence, impact and identity.

At The Way, we support PROJECTS.
In Sri Lanka there is a Hollow Brick enterprise. The project supports 26 families who were affected by man made and natural disaster and have lost their livelihood. We are supporting seven national church planters in India. Food on the Corner: a team from The Way goes out and feeds the poor on the streets of Vancouver. Union Gospel Mission is ideally positioned to help those who need it the most in our area. Pur: John and Michelle Edmonson are distributing this amazing product around the world that cleans contaminated water.
